The Solenzara villageGem of the Mother-of-Pearl Coast (Côte des Nacres), Solenzara is a lovely and friendly harbor that blends both sandy beaches and must-visit mountainous hinterlands.
Solenzara is the perfect mixture of energy and the simple pleasures of life, the sea and the mountain. The village is the point of contact between the Eastern Plain (Plaine Orientale) and the pristine Gulf of Porto-Vecchio. Solenzara is surrounded by beautiful sandy beaches (Scaffa Rossa, Solaro, Canella, Tarco, Favone, Fautéa…) that lead us to the more southern end of the island and to the well-known beaches of Pinarellu, Palombaggia or Rondinara.
But above all Solenzara is a river, the Solenzara starts from the Bavella Needles (les Aiguilles de Bavella) and meets the ocean. Along its trajectory are breath-taking natural treasures, well hidden in the bush, that will thrill not only adults due to its tranquility and ease of access, but children with the fresh-water swimming pools and the diving platforms in the boulders.
